Aviation is not just about flying. It's about the decisions that make flying possible.

I've always been curious about what happens behind the scenes in aviation — not just how aircraft fly, but why airlines make the decisions they do. Routes and networks, pricing, demand, operations, profitability: the parts of the industry most passengers never see, and the parts I can't stop reading about.

That curiosity turned into a way of working. With a background in aerospace business analytics, I tend to look at aviation through numbers first — what a schedule change implies, what a load factor is really saying, why a route that looks unprofitable is still on the map.

I started AviJournal because aviation deserves writing that is neither press release nor spreadsheet. Every day I write down what I notice about the industry: a route that should not work but does, a schedule change that hints at a strategy shift, a terminal that quietly solved a problem everyone else lives with.
